(Al Fara’a - 13/11/2014): PRCS recently concluded a sport camp organized to the benefit of disabled children enrolled at the Society’s rehabilitation centers and Home Enrichment Program in Jenin, Tarkoumia, Bani Na’im, Jericho, Nablus, Toubas, Arraba, Tulkarem and Qalqilia. 160 disabled children and their parents partook in this 3-day camp held at the Salah Khalaf Center in Al Fara’a.
The sport camp featured indoor and outdoor games such as boccia, shot put, drawing and painting, play-doh modelling in addition to awareness-raising activities for parents and recreational activities for children, their parents and supervisors. PRCS’ President Dr. Younis Al Khatib visited the camp on its second day and met with participating children and parents.
This camp was organized by the Community-based Special Education Program implemented by RPCS since 2001 with support from the Norwegian and the Swedish Red Cross Societies.
