PRCS Provides Relief to Families Whose Homes Were Demolished

(Al-Bireh 19/11/2015): PRCS’ National Disaster Response Team provided relief to families whose homes were demolished by Israeli occupation forces earlier this month. Thirteen families (56 members) from Qalandia refugee camp, Wad Sa’ir and Silwad benefited from this aid following a Needs’ Assessment carried out by the Team.

Relief items included tents, mattresses, covers, hygiene kits, kitchen utensils, tarpaulin sheets, heaters, small petrol stoves and financial aid.

PRCS’ Disaster Management Unit endeavors to provide non-stop disaster response and monitors emergency and relief needs at the national level. The Unit stands ready to provide humanitarian and relief services to affected families at all times.
