PRCS Responds to 444 Emergencies and Provides Relief to 26 Families

Al-Bireh – 26/1/2016): PRCS has provided emergency and relief services to Palestinians in the West Bank, including in Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, since the start of the cold weather wave in Palestine last Sunday.

PRCS teams provided emergency medical assistance to 444 Palestinians in the West Bank (299) and the Gaza Strip (145) including car accident injuries, deliveries and patients transported to hospitals and border crossings.


Moreover, PRCS Disaster Management Teams provided 26 families (163 members) with relief services in Salfit, Jerusalem, Jenin and the Gaza Strip. Tarpaulin sheets, blankets, mattresses, hygiene items, kitchen utensils and heaters were distributed.

PRCS has declared its readiness to tackle the current bad weather episode in the oPt since it started. Its Operations Rooms continue to monitor the situation in coordination with relevant emergency and relief bodies.
