(Hebron - 21/10/2016): A delegation from the Catholic University of America (ACU) visited the Society’s branch in Hebron with a view to conducting an impact assessment of services provided by PRCS’ Specialized Hospital in the city.
Delegation members were received by the Director General of the branch Mr. Haroun al Joulani and several hospital officials who welcomed their guests and assured them of their full cooperation. The impact assessment aims at determining the strengths and weaknesses of services provided by the hospital to women and children, taking into account the viewpoints of beneficiaries, families, doctors and nurses.
The ACU delegation toured the hospital which is the unique specialized referral and teaching hospital in Palestine, offering more than 150 neonatal and pediatric specialties, state-of-the-art surgical services and a gynecology & obstetrics ward which caters to high-risk pregnancies. Delegation members were pleased with the Society’s advanced services given the difficult conditions in the city.
They thanked PRCS for its cooperation and said that their assessment will include recommendations regarding health services in the Southern West Bank.
