(Jerusalem - 18/5/2018): More than 115 PRCS’ paramedics and volunteers provided First Aid and emergency services in the field to approximately 66 worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque during the first Friday in the month of Ramadan.
Services were provided at two Medical Stations set up by PRCS, the first at Lion’s Gate and the second inside Al Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards.Five patients were referred to Al Makassed hospital in Jerusalem for further treatment.
Moreover, thirteen PRCS’ ambulances were stationed around the Old City and at Kalandia and Al Zaytouna checkpoints through which hundreds of worshippers transit on their way from the West Bank to Jerusalem. Nine teams comprising on-foot EMTs and volunteers were also deployed at Al Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards.
