(Al-Bireh – 28/10/2019): In cooperation with the Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM), the second phase of the Train-the-Trainer Specialized First Aid Course started today at PRCS’ EMS Institute in Al-Bireh with the participation of a number of PRCS’ emergency medical techniciens (EMTs).
The course aims at enabling PRCS’ EMTs to train and enhance the skills of local EMTs, EMS staff and medical assistants, thus improving emergency medical services in Palestine.
According to Ibrahim Al Ghouleh, Head of PRCS’ EMS Department, “this very important training course is in line with the Society’s strategy which aims at building capacities and creating a local and highly qualified team capable of providing EMS training. It is also in line with efforts made by PRCS to transform its EMS Institute into a National EMS Institute”. This course is part of a two-year Cooperation Agreement between PRCS and PCPM which aims at supporting and developing PRCS’ EMS Institute.
