PRCS Assists 39 Families and Raises Its Response to Level Four

(Al Bireh – 8/1/2013): PRCS’ Disaster Management Unit raised today its response level to Level Four due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.

The PRCS National Disaster Response Team together with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) teams have initiated a comprehensive assessment of areas affected by bad weather conditions in various areas including Massafer Bani Na’im and Massafer Yatta in Hebron Governorate, Jaba’, Birnabala and Beit Iksa in Jerusalem Governorate and Toubas in the Northern West Bank.

Relief items, blankets, covers and plastic sheeting were handed to 39 families. Relief and assistance efforts by National Team and EMS teams are ongoing in various Palestinian communities.
